7 Days, 7 Posts (Day 1)

I mentioned a couple of posts back that I was not exactly happy with the way this blog was progressing. I know its very conceited considering my massive readership of Blxxdlust and myself, but I am trying to take my Web 2.0 Journey seriously and would like it to flow in certain directions. One of the main issues I have faced has been the infrequency of my posting. Blaming this on a constant battle with personal inhibitions is all well and good, but I am all too aware that it is more likely to be a result of laziness. At least every weekend, and often during the week, I think to myself; "I really should write something to that blog thing of mine" and every now and then I may even go as far as starting a post, but soon enough I get stuck or distracted and the blog is once again forgotten. Consistent posting was something I knew would take time to get into, however after several months it still eludes me. I know that these types of habits are not simply changed, but without at least making an attempt I am destined to failure from the start.

So a new week starts, and although my last post was not that long ago, I get the feeling that it a month or more could quite easily pass before I get my act together again. Walking to work I pondered this dilemma further until I had finally resolved to change in such a fundamental manner that maybe.. just maybe I will shock myself into becoming a more frequent blogger. And so without further ado I present to you... this week's plan.

For the entirety of this week, beginning today, I will complete at least one post per day. Each post will be on a different topic and I will do my best not to 'cheat', like I almost have with this post. As mentioned the idea is that by forcing myself into a new 'routine' my past habits will be affected for the better. It may end up as a complete failure and send me into a quivering psychotic mess, but equally it could be a resounding success and turn me into a better blogger / person. Either way it should be interesting to see if I can last the distance and carry on the momentum into the weeks and months that follow.

By the way, feel free to not follow my lead and leave me a comment.
